Muziekvereniging (Marching Band) Beatrix from Bergentheim
	(Re)starting in autumn 2006, I am back on the maching band. Nowadays merely a bugle corps, in the years gone by also a maching band and a trompet corps. The band uses instruments like bugels, trumpets, saxophones

	Bevrijdingsconcert 2008 Op 5 mei heeft Muziekvereniging Beatrix als onderdeel van het programma rond Koninginnedag/Dodenherdenking/Bevrijdingsdag een speciaal Bevrijdingsconcert georganiseerd. Het gemengde koor "Com nu met Sangh" en het "Hervormd Kerkkoor" verleenden hun medewerking. De uitnodigingsposter: Een redelijk groot publiek heeft in 'De Hoeksteen' genoten van het concert. Het programma bevatte vooral Nederlandse liederen, met o.a. "De zilvervloot" en "Wilt heden nu treden". Beatrix speelde toepasselijke werken zoals "VOC The Voyage" en "Rood, Wit, Blauw" met een medley van bekende vaderlandse nummers. De koren zongen samen het Ambrosianischer Lobgesang en er werd afgesloten met het zingen van coupletten 1 en 6 van het "Wilhelmus": De response was duidelijk: dat moeten we vaker doen!.

	Since autumn 2006 I am -back- member of the marching band from Bergentheim. Approximately 25 members. (Back in the 'old' days, it also had a Malletband and a Tamboer- en Trompetterkorps.)

	Spring concert 2007. The club can perform pretty more than average. We playd -led by conductor Jan Hesselink- a broad range of variations from the TV-seller 'Kabouter Plop Songbook', via 'We have a dream' and the pop/rock number 'We will rock you' of Queen.
	Celebration: 60 years muziekvereniging Beatrix ! (april 2006) These are photo's of the reception.
	At night, the concert was held. Also new clothing was presented and personal jubilees were celebrated.
	Visiting schools! (June 2005 and 2006) To get more enthusiastic members, we visited the local schools.
	Bergentheim is swinging! (June 2005) As part of the local celebrations, we kept a 'cultural' evening. In totally 170 musicians performed. (I personally was conductor and accompaniament of the children choir named Young Voices, playing the accordeon).
